Turning the Tide Programme
Written alongside survivors of domestic abuse, our education and empowerment programme is designed to build confidence, self-esteem and independence post-abuse through:
Learning Modules
Clients can work independently through our ‘Breaking the Cycle’ learning programme and/or attend our weekly online Peer Support Session to work through the content.
Peer Support Session
Clients can attend our weekly online Peer Support Session which focuses on elements of the learning modules, wellbeing, employment and life skills.
Advocacy
This service offers valuable 1:1 Caseworker support. This can include navigating through various agencies, services, criminal justice system, family court, whilst also offering support for finding and maintaining employment.
Programme Eligibility
- Clients must have experienced domestic abuse at some point in their life, either during childhood or adulthood, and must no longer be in the abusive relationship.
- Client will need to be referred through an existing agency, service, employer or job centre. This referral pathway ensures appropriate safeguarding measures are in place and that clients have access to ongoing support alongside the programme if necessary.
- Clients should now be safe and ready to engage in recovery-focused learning.
- Clients will need to be able to access the programme from a safe and secure location using their phone or another suitable device.
Important Note
Please note, that while we offer learning, guidance and advocacy as part of the programme, we do not provide counselling or crisis intervention.

This programme is best suited for individuals who are now safe and ready to engage in recovery-focused learning.
Engaging with the programme is completely confidential, unless we are concerned that they or any dependents are at risk of significant harm; in these instances, we will consult with the referring agency or service on next steps to be taken.
